I don’t just paint; I’m also a crafter and seamstress, and I enjoy making clothing for Asian Ball-Jointed Dolls. I created this tutorial a while ago for how to make a pair of court shoes for 1/3-scale (60cm tall) BJDs, and thought I would share it with you. This tutorial is free, but I will be posting other tutorials exclusively for my Patrons including face-ups, wig-making and period costumes.
At the suggestion of a friend, I’ve decided to expand what my Patreon will cover to include my doll crafting & seamstress activities (face-ups, period costumes, shoe, wig and eye-making and tutorials). Patrons will have exclusive views of new designs and products plus tutorials, but as a taster here’s a sample tutorial on how to make a pair of court shoes for a high-heeled 60cm BJD (Ball-Jointed Doll).
I work in a variety of traditional media (watercolour, graphite, pen and ink, pastels, acrylics, gouache) and also digital. My style ranges from near-photorealistic portraits of people and animals to highly stylised Celtic knotwork.
Your pledge of a few dollars per month is the most direct encouragement for me to keep producing new work. This is my income, and your encouragement will keep the art flowing.
If you have a specific idea you’d like me to realise for you, I take commissions at DeviantART.
I also sell my Celtic knotwork designs on t-shirts at Spreadshirt (click here for UK/EU, here for US/International) and as prints via DeviantART.
